ABOUT US

Your accounting in trusted, experienced hands

What began as a friendship and a shared dream became the start of our firm — Fortunka: a place built with passion, responsibility and genuine care for its clients. Every client of ours is a separate business story. We would be glad to tell you about what we do over a good coffee and good company.

Perhaps you will be part of that story too?

Our team

The people behind
Fortunka

Get in touch

Good accounting starts with people.

At Fortunka we believe running a business can be simpler when you have people beside you whom you can genuinely trust.

We are a team of women brought together by more than work. What we share is experience, a sense of responsibility, real enjoyment of what we do, and the conviction that behind every invoice, return or document there is a particular person and their business.

That is why we do not look at the people we work with purely through the numbers. We want to know what they need, understand how they work, and be there both for the everyday and for the moments when something bigger comes up.

Renata Porębiak

HR, Payroll and Operations Manager

Renata makes sure the HR side of things is handled with the care and calm it deserves. Day to day she runs payroll in several currencies, looks after employees posted abroad, and handles A1 forms, EHIC cards and tax-residency certificates. She talks to clients in English and in German. We believe that is what the service should feel like — professional, but human with it. No needless complication, and always the sense that you can ask, talk it through and find a way forward.

Monika Tułak

HR and Payroll Manager

Over 20 years of experience speaks for itself. Monika has run payroll and HR for teams of several hundred people, headed a payroll and HR department, and taken companies through ZUS and National Labour Inspectorate audits. She knows the world of HR inside out and knows how much detail has to be kept under control for a business owner to focus calmly on their own company. That experience lets her see the wider picture — not only through the regulations but, above all, through practice. It is knowledge she puts to work every day, helping the people we work with make the right decisions.

More than accounting

We want to combine the best of two worlds: experience and modern practice. We draw on knowledge built up over years, but we are not afraid of new technology, new ways of working and new solutions. We listen to the people we work with and adapt how we work to what they need.

Because we do not believe in one-size-fits-all service. Every company is different. Every business owner has a different story. And that is exactly why every collaboration with Fortunka starts with a person.

“Working in payroll and HR has taught me one thing above all: a business owner needs more than correctly kept books. They need a person on the other end. Someone who picks up the phone. Explains. Advises. Warns them about an important change. Helps find a way through. And above all — treats their company as individually as it deserves. Fortunka grew out of exactly that approach.” — Renata Porębiak

Fortunka — Experience. Knowledge. Closeness.

Three things we want to build our relationships on. Because we want people running their own business to be certain their accounting and HR are in good hands.
